Rick Helliwell has over 25 years of Executive Recruitment and Human Resources (HR) experience both in-house and consulting, working within large Corporate, SME, Start-Up, and Professional Services businesses. He is a trusted advisor to CEOs and Boards across the areas of executive recruitment and employee, team, and organizational performance.
Rick has a vast experience in the aviation sector, having started his career as a Military Pilot and flying internationally after earlier completing an Economics Degree. Before joining August Leadership, Rick was a Vice President and Senior Advisor within a VVIP Private Aviation Start-up organization operating globally and flying narrow and wide-bodied jets, executive jets and VVIP helicopters.
Prior to this, he was a Vice President holding multiple roles within a $26 billion turnover Group that comprised of a large international airline, airport operations and ground handling (in over 40 countries), aviation travel, technology and a number of other supporting businesses. He has also held the position of Global Head of Organizational Performance, People and Quality for a world-leading designer, manufacturer, and seller of high-tech communications solutions, with offices and customers located across the globe.
