Susan specializes in sourcing the most exceptional candidates across the Sustainability, NGOs, and Multilateral Agency sector. She has provided practical strategic HR solutions to many organizations in Africa in various sectors, including NGOs, manufacturing, Telecoms, and financial service providers. She has successfully filled C-level roles for international organisations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), African Development Bank, The African Agricultural Technologies Foundation (AATF), The Nature Conservancy (TNC), The Pacific Community (SPC), UNEP, to name but a few.
In Africa, Susan has identified talent in the most challenging contexts and is passionate about placing local talent whenever possible. She uses diverse tactics to source local talent and advocates for the reverse brain drain to Africa by targeting Africans working in the diaspora. Susan is conversant with labour markets across Anglophone and Francophone Africa.
Susan is a qualified Executive Coach and a certified Psychometrist with Hogan Assessments, PSI’s Emotional Intelligence Profiling tool (EIP3), and PSI’s Personality and Preferences Inventory (PAPI). She holds a master’s in human resource development and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Human Resources Development from JKUAT, Kenya.
