He has worked in 25 different countries across three continents with colleagues from more than 40 different nationalities. He keeps a parallel activity as Executive Education professor, precisely in Strategy and Cross Cultural Management subjects, and as Business Angel investor in technology start ups. 

Clients enjoy José’s sense of humor and personal touch. His consultative approach and his ability to assess candidates not only for their potential contribution to clients’ business, but also for their cultural fit. 

Prior to joining August Leadership, José was running again Next Placement, the Executive Search boutique he founded back in 2012 and run until 2016, when he joined another international search firm. Prior to founding Next Placement in 2012, he worked for 8 years for a well known search firm, for McKinsey & Co. and for P&G’s Marketing Department. 

José is married and has one son. Away from work, he enjoys good reading and sports, particularly basketball, tennis and soccer.
